Let There Be Light Appeal

“Let there be light …..” is clearly God’s wish – but it’s not happening in the community hall at St Aidan’s in Sheffield Manor Parish.

Our hall is home to a host of community activities and groups – drama, music, children’s and old people’s groups, bereavement support, health and well-being – but their own well-being is threatened because the ancient (and impractical) lighting system is about to give up the ghost!

We urgently need to replace it with a more effective, environmentally friendly system – at a cost of £7,500.

We’ve already been promised £5,000; now need to raise the last £2,500.   Will YOU help?

The situation is becoming critical – 8 of the old lights blew just this week, and we’re relying on temporary uplighters.

Please consider making a donation, however small.   Please play a part in shedding light in the darkness and helping our local community to thrive.

To donate send a cheque to St Aidan’s Parish Office, 2 Manor Lane, Sheffield, S2 1UF made payable to Sheffield Manor Parish PCC or if you prefer to pay directly through the bank via bank transfer email:  This email address is being protected from spambots. Thank you for your help!
