ABOUT US

Sheffield Manor Parish is a large inner-city parish. We are a single parish with a rhythm of church life across three buildings, each with their own style and ways of serving their part of the parish:

St Aidan's, our parish church is the main base for life events, has a weekly evening eucharist and has many midweek plans in development.

St Swithun's, which is in the heart of the Manor estate, is our main base for Sunday morning worship and community kitchen. 

Temple Park Centre our community centre in collaboration with ecumenical partners has a vibrant community life anchored in weekly prayer.

The Manor Parish is an eclectic and diverse community. We celebrate the diversity of our parish and seek to represent, include and serve those with a broad range of life experiences, especially those who have been marginalised. We are an inclusive church and try to include all people, no matter who they are, in the life of our church.

We believe that Jesus came that we may have life in it’s abundance. We believe in the inclusive embracing love of God and the life of loving service the Jesus Christ called his followers to live. The eucharist is central to our parish life and all that we do flows from it.
