ABOUT US
We believe that Jesus came that we might have life in all its fullness (John 10.10) and as 'Church on the Manor' we do what we can to join in with God’s work of transformation and hope.
We celebrate the wonderful diversity of human life, and want to serve those in our community.
Engaging with the world around us, challenging boundaries between sacred and secular, working for justice, inclusion, fairness and wholeness, to demonstrate the love God has for the world.
Intersectional inclusivity (trying to making sure that everyone, no matter who they are, is included in our church life) is an important value for us, and are proud members of Inclusive Church.
OUR CHURCHES
OUR COMMUNITY
We have three church buildings in the parish, each with their own style and ways of serving their part of the parish:
St Aidan's, St Swithun's and
Temple Park Centre
The Manor Parish is an eclectic and diverse community. We are embedded on the Manor Estate, but also encompass Norfolk Park and other parts of S2. We love the diversity of our parish and seek to represent and serve that diversity as best we can.
